- 5+ years of experience in project leadership roles for large organizations, preferably federal.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity preferred; relevant experience can be considered in place of a degree.
- Active certification in Project Management Institute (MPI)-PMP, PMI-ACP, CISSP, CSM, Sec+, CISA, SSCP, N+, CEH, CISM, or CAP.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, diplomacy, teamwork, stress management, and time management skills.
- Foundational knowledge in cloud security, security vulnerabilities, security engineering, security tools, and cloud technologies.
- Experience in ensuring uptime requirements are met and effectively responding to errors and hardware exceptions.
- Demonstrated expertise in IT security concepts, cloud services, infrastructure, networking, and data management.
- Ability to excel with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Proven track record in agile project management, maintenance of information systems security programs, and security documentation.
- Practical experience in security control monitoring, vulnerability scanning, security assessment, and risk analysis.
- Familiarity with operational tools like Azure Security Center, ForeScout, Splunk, Tenable Nessus, Palo Alto, Azure Active Directory, Cisco routers and switches, and more.
- Knowledge of OMB Memorandums, NIST Special Publications, FITARA, and federal cybersecurity compliance guidelines.
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, follow policies and procedures, and solve complex problems.
- Define and monitor success metrics to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Must be a US Citizen.

As a Senior Operations Analyst, your main role is to ensure the security of our client's Enterprise Security and Infrastructure Operations Center. This position is crucial within our client delivery team, requiring a leader who can effectively integrate and manage agile principles into cybersecurity, network, and application monitoring. Your focus will be on analyzing, planning, and executing tasks to safeguard IT systems' confidentiality, integrity, and availability for the federal government in compliance with FISMA (Federal Information Security Modernization Act).
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Operations Analyst at Zen, you will lead the way in communicating with government personnel and maintaining strong contractor management interfaces with OCIO leadership and TPOCs. Your key responsibilities include overseeing an integrated monitoring environment encompassing an enterprise NOC/SOC, cybersecurity, network, cloud, web, and application event monitoring, and incident handling. You will also be in charge of a specialized IT and cybersecurity team focused on integrating agile principles into various aspects of cybersecurity and monitoring like cyber threat intelligence, penetration testing, and forensics.
