    Description

    As part of a leading IT managed services specialist with more than 12,000 associates worldwide, we rely on the personal relationships we build with our consultants and the clients who depend on them.

    Our client is currently seeking a qualified Technical Risk Analyst to join their team remotely. This role will be supporting the Technical Risk Team and working on vendor security reviews. This role involves possible semi frequent travel to the client's headquarters.

    Day to day execution of the Information Security Risk Assessment process for existing and potential vendors
    Document, organize, and track activities that result from vendor security assessments
    Gather and organize vendor review results and data to support risk reporting and monitoring processes
    Minimum 3+ years of prior work experience in technical risk management, information security, audit and / or compliance efforts
    Minimum 3+ years of prior work experience with the review of vendor systems / solutions as part of an internal risk assessment, procurement process, or other program
    Minimum 3+ years of practical experience with one or more risk or other industry regulatory frameworks (CMMI, NIST CSF, NIST RMF, FAIR, ISO, COSO, COBIT, AICPA TSP / SOC, PCI, FedRAMP / NIST 800-53, etc)
    Experience standing up and / or administering applications and tooling with a growth mindset for learning scripting and automating processes
    Experience functioning as a business to technology translator and help bridge the business view of compliance and risk management to technical engineering and operations staff and vice versa
    Experience with collecting data with consistency and basic experience developing reporting or metrics to assess and report program performance using data analysis tools - Excel, Google Sheets, databases, or comparable tooling
    Experience with a team-centric mindset, drawn to collaboration
    Strong independent motivation, high comfort level with written communication, use of chat tools and asynchronous communication skills
    Proven communication skills and ability to partner with and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical employees, security, engineering, and management staff
    Takes an extremely pragmatic approach to risk management, functions as part of a growing team, and can balance the needs of a very dynamic engineering culture with that of protecting the company and customer data
    Proven success in developing and using metrics / KPIs to assess, report on and improve program performance

    $00 per hour
