The emphasis is on community outreach and engagement, presentations, and working with partners. We are looking for candidates who have experience setting up and managing events. Outgoing personality, articulate, and able to interact with various stakeholder groups. Also creating content and social media skills. The position will report to the GVI Community Engagement Administrator. Below are a few job description bullet points.
Assists in implementing the GVI Community Engagement Plan (i.e., planning community events and programs, running social media accounts, and serving as liaison between community at large and GVI)
Collects stories, photos, data, etc. to use across social media platforms and in external communications collateral
Drafts and edits internal and external communications collateral including newsletters, brochures, one-pages, social media content, and video content
Manages GVI Convert Kit CRM by updating contacts, uploading quarterly newsletter, and writing email blasts
Bachelor's degree in mass communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
Knowledge and familiarity with Canva, InShot, and other media creation applications.
Knowledge and familiarity with Instagram and Facebook business accounts.
Knowledge and familiarity with Convert Kit, MailChimp, or other CRM servers.
