Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Education Specialist to join our team. The Education Specialist will be responsible for creating agricultural related education curriculum and implementing educational programs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.


Duties:


  • Utilize effective teaching strategies to promote learning and skill development
  • Develop and implement educational curriculum as it relates to the Delaware Agricultural Museum & Village
  • Reach out to our volunteers to fill educational program roles
  • Manage museum memberships

Experience:


  • Previous experience creating agriculture curriculum is preferred
  • Experience in mentoring or tutoring children is a plus
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
  • Knowledge of the agricultural industry is required

Skills:


  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Patience and empathy when working with individuals with diverse needs
  • Organizational skills to effectively plan and implement educational programs
We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
