    Job Title: Project Management Assistant (Jr. PM)

    Location: North Las Vegas, NV

    About Us: We are a small but dynamic construction company specializing in the design, construction, and installation of theatrical stage rigging equipment. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, safe, and innovative solutions to our clients in the entertainment industry.

    Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Junior Project Manager. Your training will begin by starting as an Assistant PM. The ideal candidate will have a 2 or 4-year degree in construction management, project management, or a related field (equivalent work experience will be considered). A passion for the theater and experience with theatrical stage rigging is a definite plus.

    WFH opportunities are available once you are up to speed, but we would prefer to find a local candidate to make training easier.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects, with a focus on theatrical stage rigging installations.
    • Support the project team in managing resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
    • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
    • Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, drawings, change orders, and RFIs.
    • Assist in conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
    • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and similar software to create and modify project drawings, schedules, and reports.
    • Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and efficient rigging solutions that meet the unique needs of each project.

    Qualifications:

    • 2 or 4-year degree in construction management, project management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
    • Familiarity with typical construction scheduling, tasking, and methods.
    • Basic understanding of AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and similar software.
    • Theatrical experience as it relates to stage rigging is a plus.
    • Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
