    Description

    Crossroads Talent Solutions, LLC (Crossroads) is a Small Business Administration (SBA) 8a Business Development participant, Department of Veterans Affairs Certified Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), and State of Maryland Department of Transportation Minority and Disadvantaged Owned Small Business, with over 20 years of professional experience in the military, government, and the private sectors.


    POSITION OVERVIEW

    Basic Function of the Position:

    This role supports the Marketing team with client and CES needs, as well as, perform traditional marketing functions such as writing, coding and material creation.


    Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
    (List the most critical duties and responsibilities of the
    position from most critical to least critical.)

    • Compile and write member newsletter stories
    • Assist in identifying and building relationships with strategic partners
    • Responsible for marketing projects content, timelines and deadlines
    • Support Director with contract negotiation, writing, and execution; also responsible for processing contracts and fulfilling contract deliverables
    • Facilitate communications between outside partners and internal staff
    • Assists with execution of marketing projects including CT Hall of Fame, CEO Summit, Tech Week, CES, Tech & Standards, and others as needed.
    • Responsible for agendas and meeting minutes for weekly meetings
    • Preferred HTML coding and deployment for membership newsletters
    • Other duties as assigned

    Work Experience:

    -0-2 years' equivalent work experience, marketing or project/program management preferred

    • Previous team involvement and project involvement

    Education/Training:

    • Bachelor degree in Marketing or Communications preferred or commensurate work experience
    • Experience working within a fast paced environment and with a marketing, advertising or communications teams preferred.

    Skills/Capabilities/Technical:

    • Microsoft Office proficiency
    • Basic HTML skills
    • Should be able to work independently and as a member of a team
    • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
    • Deadline oriented/time efficient
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Highly motivated, detail oriented and ability to pivot quickly

    Additional Information:

    • Must have a desire to work in a creative environment.
    • Travel to CES required
