    Description

    We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a talented General Liability Associate Attorney to join a reputable National Insurance Defense Firm in Manhattan.

    This esteemed firm, boasting over 30 locations across the US, is currently experiencing significant growth in its departments to meet escalating work demands.

    What to expect in this role:

    • Handle a diverse caseload of general liability matters from start to finish
    • Compose and reply to discovery requests, pleadings, briefs, and motions
    • Appear on behalf of Clients in Court
    • Conduct depositions, arbitrations, and negotiate settlements
    • Prepare trial bundles and actively participate in trials
    • Engage in legal research
    • Meet and sustain an annual billable hours target

    Requirements:

    • Bar admission in New York, preferable in New Jersey as well
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in General Liability Defense
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle a high volume caseload
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities
    • Organized with a proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced setting
    • Outstanding time management skills for meeting critical deadlines

    In exchange for your expertise, the firm offers a competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $200,000 depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including:
