Position: Customer Service Specialist (we like to call it Spec Builder)

Location: New Paltz, NY

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address packaging needs, quotes, and orders
Craft detailed specifications based on customer and sales data
Generate accurate quotes for customers, considering package type, dimensions, and usage
Deliver formal quotes to customers and sales reps via email
Process customer purchase orders with precision
Maintain customer accounts, including shipping locations and special requirements
Conduct thorough reviews of your work and that of your peers to ensure accuracy

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

Ideally, you'll have previous experience in business-to-business customer service or spec building. But if you're a quick learner with a passion for the job, we're eager to hear from you
Excellent mathematical abilities, including working with fractions and measurements.
Obsessive attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement
Stellar communication skills, integrity, and accountability
Familiarity with resource planning software is a plus
Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
