- Teaching workload of 4 classes per semester and the preparation of classroom instruction

Job SummaryThe Department of Criminal Justice at Albany State University is seeking applicants for the position of Associate Professor of Criminal Justice. The ideal candidate for this position will share our department's goals of educating students to excel educationally, and promote justice in our ever diverse society.The candidate for this position must have a PhD in Criminal Justice or Criminology and must have at least three to five year' experience teaching criminal justice in graduate level.AS all our classes are on line the candidate must be very knowledgeable in online teaching.As a graduate faculty we expect that you must have at least five publications in peer review journal.
ResponsibilitiesPh.D. in Criminology with practical experience and scholarship within the field of Criminal Justice.
Three to five year's experience teaching criminal justice at the graduate level.
The candidate must show evidence of teaching excellence and research agenda.
The Candidate will be able to apply and integrate technology and software in teaching.
Candidates must have a commitment to community service, research, and quality teaching.
1 year of using a computer with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Student software like Banner and GA View.
Show evidence of at least five publications in peer review journals
Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge and experience in online teaching preferredProposed SalarySalary range is from $57,300 to $65,000
