    As a

    Sales Executive , your key function is to identify and sign new customer accounts in your assigned territory.

    You will spend most of your time in the field prospecting for new customers while targeting independent and small chain restaurants.

    This is a hunter position and does not manage customer accounts. Your self-motivation and hunger to win will be key to your success.
    Location, Territory, and Travel
    The ideal candidate is based out of the

    Minneapolis/St. Paul

    area and covers the Minneapolis - St. Paul Metropolitan and surrounding area including but not limited to West to St. Cloud, North to Duluth and Western portions of Wisconsin.
    This position requires minimal overnight travel.
    Key Responsibilities
    Work independently and across matrix organization to establish selling strategies and tactics that result in new business generation
    Schedule and complete daily prospecting activities; the responsibilities of this role are mostly performed out in the field.
    Manage sales materials, presentations, new contracts & pricing
    Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets on a consistent basis
    Track & enter daily sales activities, leads, pipeline into online sales tracking system
    Accountable to accurately forecast new business both monthly and quarterly
    Minimum Qualifications
    Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales goals
    Ability to drive using your own vehicle, within designated territory on a daily basis, with occasional overnight travel required
    Ability to prospect, propose, negotiate & close within a short sales cycle
    Previous experience with extensive cold calling and strategic selling experience
    Effective organizational planning, communication, and superior time management
    Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with familiarity with online technologies (Salesforce preferred)
    Preferred Qualifications
    Field sales experience with a "hunter mentality", strongly preferred
    Sales degree, Business degree, or related
    Experience selling solutions to restaurants
