Description
Summary:
The main function of a non-IT program manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and program rollout.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
Work closely with program/process owners to identify change and drive the consensus necessary following the manageable change strategy.
Identify gaps and scope optimizations for program efficiencies, develop framework for emerging areas that align with current business processes.
Manage multiple programs and projects involving multiple parties/organizations in parallel.
Design solutions in collaboration with engineering teams to improve product quality and related processes.
Lead engineering teams towards targeted and scheduled outcome providing regular workstream status to communicate project objectives, strategy, tactics, and ongoing progress.
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
Proficiency in Azure DevOps (formerly Visual Studio) and Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
Strong ability to work with data related technologies such as Azure Data Explorer, SQL, Power BI, etc.
Knowledge of Source Control systems and usage patterns and Git
Solid understanding of engineering systems (work & code management, build, validation, deployment, instrumentation) service operations at scale
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
Proficiency in Azure DevOps (formerly Visual Studio) and Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
Strong ability to work with data related technologies such as Azure Data Explorer, SQL, Power BI, etc.
Knowledge of Source Control systems and usage patterns and Git
Education/Experience:
6-10 years of program management experience
Bachelor's degree or related industry experience
Knowledge of software security and/or compliance regulation preferred
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
