    Description
    The Manager o fIn-Home Supports (IHS) Family Manager is responsible for coordinating client services, assisting in the oversight of direct support professionals hired to work with clients, supervising IHS Family Managers, and developing client budgets. This includes evaluating client needs, prioritizing the level of service coordination, determining appropriate and cost-effective services, tracking expenses and documenting outcomes. Also responsible for review of service agreements and associated budgets written by IHS Family Managers, and for authorizing vouchers and invoices.

    Requirements

    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree preferred; consideration may be given to those with an Associate's degree and a minimum of 2 years of work experience in Human Services e 1-2 years of experience working in Human Services preferred Skills and Abilities
    • Demonstrate a commitment to The Moore Center's values Foster and support the culture of a learning organization.
    • Demonstrate a strong emphasis on customer service skills, both to clients and all staff Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while presenting a professional demeanor at all times Comply with all state, agency and department policies and procedures
    • Possess strong time management and organization skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and ensure timely follow through Ability to complete basic calculations Ability to work independently and as part of an inter-disciplinary team
    • Demonstrate creative, innovative thinking and problem-solving Interact effectively with people of varied educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds,skill levels and value systems Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to master new software
