The New Hampshire Food Bank is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Culinary Manager within our Recipe For Success Department.

The Culinary Manager will oversee all culinary programs, including food production, recipe development, inventory management, budgeting, training, and outreach activities.

This role involves supervising and training culinary staff, collaborating with the Culinary & Nutrition Programs Director, and participating in revenue generation initiatives.

Duties:


  • Supervise and lead all culinary program team members.
  • Evaluate program performance, develop work plans, and identify goals.
  • Collaborate with the Culinary & Nutrition Programs Director on budget creation and forecasting.
  • Plan, develop, and implement culinary program initiatives.
  • Assist in program development and strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain policies and operational guidelines to ensure food safety and program outcomes.
  • Participate in revenue generation initiatives, including grant procurement and donor solicitation.
  • Coordinate with company personnel, departments, and outside stakeholders.
  • Promote culinary programs through public relations efforts, media engagement, presentations, and fundraising events.
  • Supervise personnel and contractors to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Training, Business Administration, Human Services, or related field; or High School diploma/GED and 7 years of food industry experience with management responsibilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid Driver's License and willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel throughout the state.
  • ServSafe certification required.
  • Prior food service management experience preferred.
  • Willingness to obtain inhouse Forklift Operator certification.
