    Description

    As the Assistant Service Manager for D&F Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, you must be highly driven, incredibly reliable, and have a "take-charge" attitude. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate, train, delegate and oversee multiple departments within the service division to maximize production and profitability.

    You will primarily assist in leading a team of field technicians and support staff, including customer service representatives, dispatchers, and warehouse/delivery personnel. Our team operates in the service, repair, and small remodel sectors, requiring you to have a deep understanding of plumbing codes, safety regulations, tool, material, and product knowledge in Oregon and Washington.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, and contributing to our company's growth.

    • a high level of professionalism and patience with coworkers and customers
    • and supervise tasks across various teams, including licensed journeyman plumbers, repair techs, re-pipe crews, sewer crews, dig crews, etc.
    • service revenue growth month over month.
    • after-hours support for field service technicians as needed.
    • and communicate effectively within the entire Service Department to ensure smooth operations.
    • the company's brand and quality standards in all team activities

    Qualifications:

    • proven track record in the plumbing industry and 5+ years prior management experience.
    • knowledge of Oregon and Washington plumbing codes and standards, with a CCB/Oregon RMI certification or the ability to attain it.
    • of the flat-rate pricing system.
    • in IT and computer applications, including Microsoft programs and modern mobile devices (iPhones, iPads, Androids), with strong typing.
    • with Service Titan software a huge plus.
