The Service Manager (SM) ensures the overall success of the Service Department from developing and adhering to annual budgets and managing the full schedule of client services, all the way down to the details of the field notes on each invoice.

A successful SM will utilize and develop the people, tools, and processes to ensure goals are met, customers are satisfied, and team members are encouraged and growing in their roles.

They will always keep the bigger picture in mind, making decisions and seeking opportunities that are critical for growing the team, department, and company.

• Strong knowledge of industry standard irrigation parts, equipment, practices, troubleshooting and installation techniques, required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team composed of both office and field staff.
• Ability to install custom design build irrigation systems, preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and build irrigation systems per plan, preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams), required.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks, required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in at least one CRM program, required.
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record.

• High school diploma or GED, required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Landscape related field, OR equivalent experience, preferred.

• Willing and able to work in the field with the service team for training, advanced troubleshooting, etc. as needed. This includes walking, bending, lifting, crouching, crawling, digging, raking, etc. in various weather conditions.
