Job Summary:
Oversee the maintenance and development of our GIS systems, ensuring high-quality mapping products and services for our organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments, managing GIS databases and servers, and providing technical support to users
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer all aspects of ArcGIS Server, Portal, and ArcGIS Online, including performance monitoring, service configuration, security, and licensing.
Work with GIS professionals, collaborating and providing leadership to optimize team performance and achieve organizational goals.
Support GIS integration with other enterprise systems and departments.
Stay current with emerging GIS technologies and best practices.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree or GIS certification preferred.
3-5 years of experience in GIS work, with expertise in ESRI ArcGIS products and platforms
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Access and Excel.
Strong technical background and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual work station, using telephone and computer
Physical Demands:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone
