    Description

    **Customer Service Sales**

    1 Knoxville, Tennessee Minimum Experience **Mid-level** Material Handling Inc., a leading forklift and material handling equipment provider in the Southeast is in search of a talented individual to join our sales team as a Business Development Specialist in our Knoxville, TN territory. This position is responsible for selling service, parts, and rental to accounts within their assigned territory. The Business Development Specialist is also the liaison between the customer and MHI's parts, service, and rental departments, and therefore plays a key role in customer satisfaction.

    The successful candidate will have:

    A strong degree of self-motivation, ethics, and the ability to work independently.

    Great written and verbal communication skills. This position requires significant face to face time with both customers and fellow employees.

    High energy, ambition, and hustle to grow the customer base within the territory.

    The vision and drive to seek out new business through fundamental practices of prospecting, identifying key decision makers, and developing relationships.

    Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

    General knowledge of maintenance functions.

    Key Job Responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned:

    Call on new customers in assigned territory to attain new business.

    Complete the new customer set up with new accounts.

    Promote and sell Parts, Service, and Short-Term Rentals to customers within assigned territory to grow sales in new accounts.

    Log detailed call reports, track opportunities, and sales, while maintaining accurate customer account information in CRM.

    Qualifications :

    College degree preferred but not required.

    Experience with industrial products & services is a plus.

    Sales experience is preferred.

    Confident aggressive lead generator - we are looking for a hunter.
