    HVAC Service Sales Representative at Hoffman Mechanical Solutions

    Position Purpose: Drive new sales consistently while maintaining the company's integrity and high standards of customer care. Provide effective solutions to customer needs and secure referral-based sales.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Present proposals in person at customers' facilities
    • Conduct sales presentations following company guidelines
    • Educate potential customers on the value of products/services
    • Enhance communication and customer satisfaction processes
    • Adhere to appointment schedules
    • Participate in training sessions
    • Transfer all necessary job information to the operations department accurately
    • Maintain regular communication with the office
    • Follow company procedures for generating referrals
    • Attend sales meetings
    • Represent the company professionally at all times
    • Perform other assigned duties

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in HVAC, Construction, or Service
    • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in engineering, math, or sciences

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
    • Detail-oriented with a professional appearance
    • Mechanical aptitude and sales psychology knowledge
    • Effective customer service and time management skills
    • Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
    • Independent worker with the ability to meet deadlines
    • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
    • High energy and proactive mindset
    • Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel
    • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Valid driver's license

    Performance Indicators:

    • Achievement of revenue goals
    • Percentage of self-generated leads/referrals
    • Customer satisfaction levels
    • Consistent lead generation processes
    • Proficiency with company technology
    • Accurate sales documentation
    • Number of error-free jobs sold

    Physical Demands:

    • Inspection of customer sites, occasional lifting up to 30lbs
    • Use of sight, touch, and hearing senses
    • Possible requirement of PPE in commercial environments
    • Occasional exposure to varying environmental factors
    • Exposure to loud and confined spaces
