Dawson Pardue

I am currently working towards a bachelor's degree in marketing while living in Knoxville, TN. I am looking for a marketing or sales internship that will progress my knowledge in the industry outside of classwork. I hope to find a workplace that I can continue to work in after I obtain my degree. I enjoy working in teams, and tend to bring out social energy when working with others. I am also very versatile with computers and computer softwares such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. 

I have financially supported myself through College by working numerous service industry jobs. These jobs taught me how to be punctual, efficient, and understanding. The service industry also taught me how to work with different large groups of people, who may all be socially different from each other. After years of working in the service industry, I am ready to put my knowledge to use in the industry I aspire to work in. I am looking forward to gaining valuable experience from a Marketing or Sales internship around the Knoxville area.

I graduated from Johns Creek High School in Atlanta Georgia. While still in High School, I attended Georgia State University, where I took pre-requisite classes which helped me get into the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I attended UTK from 2019-2021. I am now finishing my academic career at Georgia State University with online courses, and expect to obtain my degree in May of 2024. Taking online courses allows me to have an open availability 7 days a week for a full time internship.
