IV certified LPN since 2011. CNA experience 2005-2011. I have primarily worked in ALC/SNF/LTC, but have 6 months experience in home health as well as occasionally worked over the course of 2 years with adults with autism. Experience

I started out as a CNA in an assisted living facility back in 2005. After I completed a LPN program in 2011, I continued to work for the same company for 5 more years. When i left that company, i worked at other SNF/LTC facilities gaining experience and skills before returning to the company that i started my nursing career at. I have experience with IV care, foley catheters, PEG tube care, wound care, venipunctures, administering oral/IM/IV/topical medications, performing ordered treatments, educating patients/residents and families on measures to help manage their diagnoses, and other skills. 

Education

Completed high school with honors diploma and 3.7 weighted GPA. 

Some college courses at Pellissippi State Community College

Blount Memorial LPN Program 2010-2011 and obtained LPN licensure in TN
