Emily Mashburn

IV certified LPN since 2011. CNA experience 2005-2011. I have primarily worked in ALC/SNF/LTC, but have 6 months experience in home health as well as occasionally worked over the course of 2 years with adults with autism. I am a detail oriented person and passionate about improving the quality of life of those that i care for

I started out as a CNA in an assisted living facility back in 2005. After I completed a LPN program in 2011, I continued to work for the same company for 5 more years. When i left that company, i worked at other SNF/LTC facilities gaining experience and skills before returning to the company that i started my nursing career at. I have experience with IV care, foley catheters, PEG tube care, wound care, venipunctures, administering oral/IM/IV/topical medications, performing ordered treatments, educating patients/residents and families on measures to help manage their diagnoses, and other skills. 

Completed high school with honors diploma and 3.7 weighted GPA.
