    Accounting Manager - Must be local to Greenville, SC In office with 2 days remote.

    Tech24 is a leading national provider of installation, preventative maintenance, and emergency repair services for mission-critical foodservice and HVAC equipment. Its extensive reach and capabilities make it the first choice for large blue-chip clients requiring a national, highly responsive partner. The Company has undergone a major transformation after being purchased by a respected private equity firm in 2020. Since the initial purchase of Tech24, the platform business has added 22 companies as add-on acquisitions and will continue to grow.

    Tech24 is searching for an Accounting Manager to work out of their Greenville, SC office. As an Accounting Manager, you will provide the general accounting and internal control leadership to ensure the accuracy of the general ledger account balances and financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will assist in the accounting and consolidation of the company's acquisitions as it continues to grow and expand.

    Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
    The accurate and timely preparation of the financial reporting of the company, including financial statement preparation and analyses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and all other fiscally related duties.

    Supervise month-end and year-end close activities, including the reconciliation of accounts, journal entries and the preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP for the acquired companies.

    Work directly with accounting and operational staff at the acquired companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of acquisition accounting when companies are acquired.

    Research and interpret generally accepted accounting principles

    Provide first level analysis of financial results to make recommendations of the status of reserves, assets, and expenditures

    Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process

    Prepare financial reports for internal or external requirements as directed

    Ensure complete documentation of all processes and procedures

    Support CFO and Controller with additional ad hoc reporting and special projects as required, including but not limited to system implementation, new accounting treatment implementation, process automation, etc.

    Qualifications and Competencies:

    • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, combined with 3-5 years' experience in Accounting/Finance

    • CPA preferred with Public Accounting experience

    • Proficient with MS Excel/Word/Outlook

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


    • Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles


    • Strong analytical skills


    • Possess interpersonal and communication, verbal and written skills


    • Must be highly motivated and have the ability to function independently and multi-task


    • Must be detailed oriented


    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook
