- Expected to be a key cross-functional contributor and collaborative members of our Sales and Marketing team
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
* Collaborate with Marketing and follow up on leads provided from website traffic, email and direct mail campaigns, etc.
* Ensure pricing of all products meets expected profit margin and adjust pricing based on competition, supply and demand, etc.
* Attend the occasional tradeshow or conference to develop leads and continue professional growth
* Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
* Effectively communicate value propositions through in-person visits, email, phone calls, etc.
* Manage effective customer communication to ensure customer satisfaction
* Analyze statistics or other data from our CRM system to identify opportunities
* Coordinate with operations manager to ensure orders are delivered and exceed customer expectations
* First 60 days of onboarding will be learning operations and the quoting process
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in technical field preferred and 3+ years in industrial customer service or sales
* Prior heat treat sales experience a plus
Position will require travel throughout the Great Lakes and NE USA territories. This position has flexibility with on-site and remote work. Travel is expected 25% of the month.

You would be working for a family-owned business with a very friendly atmosphere that is an established leader in our industry. Customer service is paramount to our success. We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful leader with exceptional interpersonal skills to attract, engage, manage and build relationships with new/existing customers in the Great Lakes and Northeast US area. This position can work from our Monroe, MI facility or our Waterloo, Iowa facility.
