    Planning Industrial Engineer Area:

    Industrial Engineering Job Summary and Description A
    TDPlanning IE is part of the Technology Development (TD) Industrial Engineering (IE) Team and is responsible for
    TDtraveler management and associated tool forecasting, Capital and Expense planning; forecasting and tracking materials, consumables, and other associated Operating Expense requirements; and working with the ID1 IE Planning team to plan for and monitor
    TDshared equipment.


    Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Safety Completes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policies Follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations Reports all safety-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (Emergency Response Team, Supervision, etc.)



    Performs audits and submits good catches on safety issues Communication/Collaboration Partners closely with the Process Development (PD), Equipment Development Engineering (EDE), and ID1 stakeholders (MDE, IE) to keep updated on development needs, tool requirements, and ID1 shared tooling requirements Partners closely with PD and PI teams to understand why
    TDtravelers are changing and associated impacts Coordinates
    TDtraveler and input changes with the ID1 team to ensure synced plans Coordinates development teams on capital justifications and planning driven assumption changes Collaborates with key stakeholders on future production and development wafers, tool/material/consumable requirements, and space planning Partners closely with the Process Development (PD), Equipment Development Engineering (EDE), Procurement, and Facilities stakeholders to keep updated on strategic area plans, priorities, and projects Project Management/Planning Designs and coordinates projects with several different departments Creates timelines with milestones for complex tasks and projects Minimizes duplication through effective planning Adjusts plans based on execution to milestones and factors in capabilities when setting plans Technical/Data Analysis Maintains accurate planning models (forecasts, tool requirements, capital, expense) Applies IE concepts and statistical analysis to maintain quality and audit manufacturing information, analyze metric quality, and improve modeling techniques Applies IE concepts to requirements analysis, constraint management, and space planning Evaluates what-if scenarios representing changes to metrics and partners with engineering to understand the impact of the changes Uses experience and observations to design experiments to get to the root cause on issues Analyzes and interprets internal and external data sources to suggest capacity changes Incorporates experience and observations to design experiments to determine necessary area changes Drives action through effective data and clear communication Successful Candidates must have the following Qualifications:
    Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skills Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships Proven ability to communicate complex analysis in a succinct, clear, and actionable manner Proven ability to plan, drive and complete projects effectively Proven skills in working effectively with team members from different disciplines Demonstrated critical thinking skills Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to be detailed oriented and able to follow complex procedures Proven ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and Power Point Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and self-improve Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to improve overall efficiency Demonstrated ability to organize and efficiently facilitate meetings and project teams Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex problems and address root causes Strong partnering and team-working skills Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects Proven ability to communicate and present technical information effectively Advanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills Advanced understanding of statistics Advanced understanding of area tool configurations, capabilities, processes, and mechanical functionality Advanced understanding of manufacturing science (scheduling, inventory management, capacity planning, etc.)

    Demonstrated skill at prioritizing area projects for engineering and production based on capacity and cycle time needs Intermediate understanding of database management methods and techniques Preferred skills in computer science (SQL, python, etc) Intermediate problem-solver:
    understanding of data, good data intuition and data visualization skills Experience or knowledge of data collection, warehousing systems, and data cleansing Education and

    Experience Required:
    BS in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations Management (POM), equivalent degree, or relevant experience Preferred: MS in an
