- Establishing and maintaining RMF policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations.
- Overseeing the authorization and assessment of IT systems in accordance with RMF guidelines.
- Managing a team of RMF specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Coordinating with stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies and security solutions.
- Monitoring and reporting on the status of RMF activities, including risk assessments and security controls.
- Leading RMF implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or other related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on RMF and compliance.
- Professional certifications required (CCISO or CISM or CISSP or GSLC) AND (PMP or PgMP).
- Proven experience managing cybersecurity programs, projects, or initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of RMF processes, NIST cybersecurity frameworks, and federal regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to lead a diverse team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic cybersecurity plans and initiatives.
- Experience in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Project management skills to oversee complex cybersecurity projects.
- Secret clearance required
- Experience working in a government or federal cybersecurity environment.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST SP
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices.
- Expertise in cybersecurity tools and technologies for RMF implementation.
- Certification in project management (PMP) or program management (PgMP)
