    Sown To Grow (STG) is a K12 education technology platform that empowers schools to improve student social, emotional, and academic well-being through an easy and engaging reflection and feedback process.

    Sown To Grow's foundational product is a simple weekly emotional check-in, where students pick emojis and write short reflections on how they are feeling at school.

    They start with a focus on emotional well-being and sense of belonging, and expand to social-emotional learning (SEL) competencies and academic goal-setting over time.

    School & district leaders access real-time reporting and technology-enabled insights on students' emotional strengths/needs, allowing them to provide proactive support.

    The system also includes built-in SEL assessment, supporting curriculum, and powerful artifacts of growth.

    Sown To Grow is seeking an Account & Partnership Executive / Team Lead to join our team who is excited to join a fast-growing startup and is passionate about scaling impactful, evidence-based student support practices.

    The focus of this role will be to expand Sown To Grow in new accounts and partnerships, with a focus on targeted strategic growth areas and top-line goals.

    This position will report to our Senior Director of Partnerships and collaborate with the broader Growth / Marketing team.

    Position Goals & Outcomes:


    As the Account & Partnership Executive / Team Lead (New Accounts) at Sown To Grow, you will propel our company's growth and continued success.

    Your responsibilities will include executing/leading in a dynamic sales team, crafting strategic sales initiatives, and nurturing connections with pivotal clients to meet revenue goals and broaden our market footprint.

    We're searching for an experienced individual with a demonstrated history of sales execution and team leadership, outstanding communication abilities, and a fervent drive to achieve outcomes in a rapid-paced setting.


    Responsibilities:

    Sales Execution, Planning and Analysis:
    Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives, market trends, and customer needs.

    The focus will be on targeted/specified strategic areas to start, with a goal of modeling best practices and growing into a strategic/team leadership role.

    Understand and demonstrate the impact of Sown To Grow's products and services, including interactive product demos in high-stakes / pitch environments with senior leaders of potential clients (in-person and virtual) Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement or optimization.

    Collaborate with other functions, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.


    Sales Team Leadership Opportunities:


    Share best practices, modeling, and coaching in support of the sales team, accelerating our path to objectives and motivating team members to achieve targets.

    Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
    Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.


    Account/Partner Relationship Management:


    Understand the K-12 education context and develop a deep understanding of how Sown To Grow fits into and supports district initiatives, systems, and structures.

    Build and maintain strong relationships with school/district leaders, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for Sown To Grow implementation and expansion.

    Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and superior service delivery.


    Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
    Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, policy/funding shifts, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and gaps.
    Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies.
    Use competitive analysis to differentiate Sown To Grow's offerings and position the company as a market leader.


    Key Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Education, or a related field.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in K-12 education / edtech, with 3+ years in a Sales or Sales team leadership role.

    Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
    Strong execution skills, with the ability to support, model and help motivate a diverse team.

    Extensive network of district admins with ability to schedule meetings based off previous relationshipsExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in a variety of contexts (e.g., large group, small group, one-on-one, in-person, virtual, etc).Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.

    Proficiency in Hubspot (CRM system) and sales productivity tools.
    Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

    Compensation Range:
    Base salary range = $110,000 - $130,000 + significant revenue-based / performance-based bonuses and equity compensation (incentive stock options or ISOs)
