    This is life-changing work, and we are all in, are you?This Product Manager position will join the team that launches Vafseo and drives business objectives at Akebia for ongoing commercial activities with Auryxia.

    This marketing role contributes to sales success and revenue goals by developing and implementing impactful marketing strategy and tactics.

    Akebia has a strong cross-functional team, and this position will serve as an integral member to advance the strategic and tactical plans.

    The Product Manager will partner closely with the Field Sales Team, Sales Training, Commercial Analytics, Franchise Marketing, Legal, Regulatory and Medical Affairs colleagues in order to successfully develop and implement marketing programs and initiatives.


    The Product Manager will:
    Develop health care professional (HCP) promotional materials and patient education materialsLead digital initiatives including websites, paid search, and media plan for promoted brandsParticipate in planning for and execution of marketing tactics at sales meetingsManage brand presence at relevant meetings and congressesNavigate tactics through Promotional Review Committee with legal, regulatory, and medical affairsSolicit feedback on tactics by leading field sales Commercial Advisory TeamParticipate in development of annual brand plan

    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree required Minimum of 3-5 years experience in sales/marketing within the biotech/pharmaceutical sector

    Preferred Qualifications:

    MBA or Marketing Qualifications a plusExperience in the renal category a plusAble to analyze and interpret market data, apply insights to the marketing plans and tacticsSkilled at managing projects and processes on time and within established budget Proficient in identifying market research needs, commissioning studies, and leveraging insightsCapable of working independently, efficiently, and effectively within cross-functional teamAble to work within highly regulated promotional environmentStrong written and oral communication skillsSuccessful at building relationships in cross-functional teams and with agency partnersCapable of directing work of agency partners to develop tactics on time and within budgetPossibility for Senior Product Manager title depending on credentials and experienceAre you an Akebian?An Akebian is curious, empathetic, and values making connections to people and ideas.
