    NON-PROFIT FIRM SEEKING AN ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR WITH 2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE TO JOIN OUR TEAM. THIS JOB IS MAINLY COMPRISED OF A/P AND A/R DUTIES. BACHELOR'S IN ACCOUNTING & NON-PROFIT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.

    Accounts Payable/Expenses:

    • Responsible for logging all invoices as received and entering payables on a weekly basis in QuickBooks. Making certain that all information is accurate and ready for approval.
    • Attaching invoices to the bills in QuickBooks - $1,000 and above
    • Responsible for following up with new vendors/payees on W-9s and correct information
    • Responsible for correcting vendor name in QuickBooks from Concur - Cleaning up data in QB pushed by Concur. Changing vendor information in QB to facilitate future searching and monthly reconciliation.
    • Assist in reviewing the staff monthly reimbursement list and adjusting the bill entry in QB. (such as changing the date and month of the year in the description)
    • Update ACH payments in QB to record as paid using date of payment as reference.

    Accounts Receivable/Revenue:

    • Assist with revenue entries; Classy donation entry in QB with review of payments for invoices
    • Assist with creation of Invoices to donors for events and other donations
    • Responsible for updating staff time sheets, following up and transferring data to CFO's time allocation spreadsheets.

    Qualifications

    College degree preferred, preferably in accounting or comparable work experience. Two or more years work experience in a finance support setting, nonprofit preferred. QuickBooks Online experience preferred as well as exposure to nonprofit accounting. Strong computer skills required with exceptional proficiency in MS Office. Must have excellent attention to detail. Ability to work as a team player and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is imperative.
