    Primary Responsibilities
    In the role of

    Traffic EIT/Coordinator , we'll count on you to:
    Assist on traffic engineering projects, exercise sound engineering judgment, and prepare Traffic Analysis Reports
    Perform traffic analysis tasks, including development of future volumes, signal warrant analyses, deterministic analysis, mesoscopic and microscopic simulation
    Coordinate design issues within the project team and with task leaders to develop solutions to technical challenges
    Participate in work sessions in conjunction with other staff
    Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of tasks on schedule and within budge
    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering

    EIT or ability to obtain, candidates hired without their EIT will be titled "Traffic Coordinator" until they obtain their EIT.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office
    Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and ability to work in a team environment
    An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
    Preferred Qualifications
    2 years of relevant experience
    EIT strongly preferred.
    Experience using HCS, Synchro/SimTraffic, Sidra, Vissim, Aimsun, and other traffic software packages preferred
    Familiarity with using Microstation and other roadway design and CADD software

    Experience with traffic studies, TMP development, traffic forecasting, traffic modeling and traffic analysis including a thorough knowledge of the Highway Capacity Manual, MUTCD, AASHTO Green Book.
