    Internal Controls Senior Manager - Governance

    Description

    We are looking for a talented Internal Controls Senior Manager to join our team specializing in Internal Controls for our Corporate Organization in Indianapolis, Indiana.

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • Manage the execution of business process and internal controls reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of the internal control environment. Engage with business stakeholders to drive process improvements and enhance the internal control environment.
    • Proactively identify control issues and perform root cause analysis and design efficient and effective remediation plans.
    • Lead assessments for process changes and system implementations which have an impact in financial internal control implications, including assessing control design, assessing control operating effectiveness/efficiency, and consulting through changes.
    • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting and internal control systems and assist in implementing risk and control software.
    • Collaborate with business leadership to implement internal control improvements and management of implementation plans.
    • Develop and implement monitoring procedures to evaluate compliance with internal control policy requirements and lead internal control policy updates.
    • Manage and develop trainings for internal team and business partners.
    • Represent the department as part of assigned business units/functions leadership meetings. Develop strong relationships with business partners.

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Effective collaboration skills to work across teams and achieve shared objectives.
    • Communicates effectively by developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
    • Is solution-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
    • Proficiency in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

    Education/Experience

    • College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting required.Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor or related certification required.
    • Significant relevant work experience, including supervisory experience, required.
    • Expertise in business process and internal control risk analysis to identify and mitigate risks and implement process improvements.
    • Experience in financial internal controls, assessing controls, and developing remediation plans.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base salary rate commensurate with experience.

    Base salary range: $114,400 – $171,600

    Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

    Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
