    Teipen, Selanders, Poynter & Ayres, PC, a mid-sized fast growing public accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager. We have been offering a broad range of services to our business and personal clients since 1976. We are looking for a tax expert to help manage our growth on the tax side of our business.


    Responsibilities:

    • Preparation and technical tax review of assigned tax returns of varying complexity, including multistate returns
    • Research complex tax issues
    • Identify planning opportunities and issues for our clients and recommend creative solutions to complex problems
    • Schedule and monitor smooth system flow of tax returns
    • Facilitate Federal and State income, payroll and sales tax audits
    • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects and strategies to our team
    • Perform administrative duties relative to position

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
    • 5+ years' recent accounting firm experience including managing multiple tax accounting projects and client engagements
    • Significant experience working with all types of entity taxes
    • Proficient experience with tax preparation software (Lacerte or similar)
    • CPA certification
