- Craft and implement a robust business plan for the PCBA commodity, strategically selecting suppliers and fostering dual sourcing across diverse regions.
- Lead initiatives for material cost reduction through value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) in collaboration with suppliers and technology partners.
- Collaborate closely with our global team to establish an impactful global footprint and promote diversification within our supply base.
- Conduct comprehensive capacity planning with key manufacturers to ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop and monitor rigorous supplier evaluation criteria, fostering accountability and excellence.
- Facilitate quarterly supplier business unit reviews, fostering transparent and constructive partnerships.
- Drive annual cost reduction negotiations, leveraging data-driven insights and strategic foresight.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to support new product introductions.
- Align closely with our engineering team to define long-term technical goals and seamlessly integrate technology roadmaps into our category strategy and commodity business plan.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply to GE Appliances, prioritizing reliability and agility.
- Demonstrate flexibility with the ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 20% as planned.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in conducting detailed data analytics of PCBA BOMs (Bill of Materials).
- Demonstrated experience in leading data-driven negotiations.
- 3 years of experience in contract management and negotiations.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing sourcing strategies for complex, high-value commodities.
- Strong analytical prowess and adept problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Deep understanding of PCBA electronics technology, negotiation dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Willingness to occasionally work non-traditional hours to meet business needs.
- Experience with ERP Systems, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Background in Cost Engineering, contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Financial acumen, enabling informed business decisions.
