    **Guest Services Associate**

    Family Services Palo Alto, California Minimum Experience **Entry-level** Guest Services Associate

    Reports To Associate Director, Family Services

    Hours:

    Monday - Sunday

    2nd Shift: 2:45pm 11:15 pm

    Non-Exempt

    Job Summary

    The Guest Services Associate (GSA) reports to the Associate Director, Family Services and supports internal House operations while on shift. The GSA is responsible for maintaining a supportive, safe, and secure environment, attending to family requests, directing the work of volunteers, and assuring that services and programs are provided in a manner consistent with current policy and procedures. This role is the first contact with in-House families and must feel comfortable with constant people interaction, service delivery, addressing concerns by following internal protocol, and and maintaining confidentiality. GSAs are required to work some holidays.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Operations:

    Meet with outgoing/incoming staff at the beginning and end of each shift to relay important information

    Assure completion of daily health screening for all guest families

    Provide direct customer service to in-house families, community, and donors

    Accept and log family mail and packages

    Carry duty cell phone at all times and be the point person on site in case of emergency

    Prep, put out & clean up breakfast for the families in the morning

    Maintain a safe and secure communal living environment for families

    Family Care/Housing:

    Support Intake Coordinator with check-ins, check-outs, and room scheduling

    Complete family requests and deliveries as reported in work order system

    Respond to all family questions, emergency situations, and alarms

    Facilities:

    Maintains a clean main lobby, kitchen and dining areas

    Perform a walk-through of entire House to ensure tidiness and safety

    Log all maintenance issues observed during nightly walk-through of the House

    Log all maintenance requests made by families

    Volunteers:

    Direct the work of volunteers to assure daily task completion

    Work directly with volunteers to expand coverage needs throughout the RMH Stanford campus
