Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers.

The company's R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies.

As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.


The Opportunity


We are seeking an experienced Library and Information Sciences Associate Director to support the Information Services needs across our entire organization, providing key support to Research, Regulatory, Medical Affairs and Commercial teams.

This position will report into the Sr. Director, R&D Information Operations


Responsibilities:


  • Provisioning & maintaining scientific literature & information science platforms across Research & Development.
  • Maintaining the definition of organization/archiving structures of knowledge and literature management systems.
  • Provide support and guidance to Regulatory Operations and Medical Writing and manage electronic libraries and copyright entitlements supporting submissions to Health Authorities.
  • Responsible for interfacing and collaborating with external stakeholders and internal crossfunctional teams to ensure delivery of scientific information according to plan and with quality.
  • Maintain and document a centralized hub for Information Services and provide expertise and guidance in identifying the most reliable sources of information for a particular information service requirement.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:


  • Minimum of 5 years library science experience in the field of life sciences with preferably a minimum of 23 years within pharmaceutical companies.
  • Experience with scientific Knowledge Management platforms such as Scifinder, Coretellis and Citeline.
  • Experience budgeting and managing electronic journal subscriptions and literature management systems.

Preferred Skills, Experience and Education:


  • BA/BS Degree in library and information sciences, or related field.
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, and communication skills bridging between scientific communication and business priorities, to manage effective international and crossdivisional collaboration.
  • Administrative experience of CCC Rightfind and EndNote.
  • Ability to think strategically, critically analyze and synthesize complicated data and scientific information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
The expected salary range for this role is $182,000 to $220,000.

An individual's position within the range may be influenced by multiple factors, including skills and experience in role, overall performance, individual impact and contributions, tenure, and market dynamics.
