    Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Territory Sales Representative for Massachusetts, where you will drive our sales growth through strategic engagement and exceptional customer service. Utilize your sales expertise to forge strong relationships, manage accounts, and expand our customer base through targeted, in-person interactions in this outside sales role.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategically manage and grow sales within the Massachusetts territory using advanced sales techniques and comprehensive knowledge of our products and competitive landscape.
    • Frequently travel within the territory to meet with current and potential clients, minimizing overnight stays.
    • Develop tailored proposals to meet diverse customer needs promptly and efficiently.
    • Maintain and enhance relationships with key product vendors, including Grundfos and Xylem, and actively seek new vendor partnerships to enrich our product offerings.
    • Respond swiftly to customer inquiries and needs, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
    • Track and report on sales activities, maintaining detailed accounts of territory performance, including successful closures and areas for improvement.

    Work Environment and Physical Demands

    This role blends work from office, home office, and field settings, requiring regular travel to client sites. The position demands physical activities such as standing, walking, and driving for extended periods.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Profound knowledge of industrial products, specifically pump equipment and flow instrumentation.
    • Exceptional organizational, communication, and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong independent work ethic, coupled with an ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
    • Familiarity with the industrial sector in Massachusetts is preferred.
