    Position Overview: A nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C. is looking for a professional with a bachelor's degree, at least one year of work experience, and a strong interest in plant-based nutrition to coordinate diet-related clinical research trials.

    About the Company: The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving human and animal lives through plant-based diets and ethical scientific research.

    Position Title: Clinical Research Associate or Coordinator

    About the Role: As a Clinical Research Associate or Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical research activities focusing on the impact of dietary patterns on diverse health outcomes, with an emphasis on plant-based diets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate efficient processes during research participant recruitment, assessments, and follow-up stages
    • Coordinate recruitment and enrollment of research participants
    • Organize participant assessments and nutrition education classes
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards
    • Assist with outreach efforts and event planning

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Required - bachelor's degree, Preferred - master's degree
    • Credentials: Required - None, Preferred - None
    • Work Experience: Required - 1 year, Preferred - 2-3 years

    Salary:

    • Associate Level: Minimum Salary - $53,250, Median Salary - $55,377
    • Coordinator Level: Minimum Salary - $59,998, Median Salary - $64,011

    Application Process:

    • Step 2: 30-minute video interview with Director of Clinical Research and Clinical Research Specialists
    • Step 4: 15-minute video interview with PCRM President
    • Step 5: 2-hour working interview with Clinical Research team members
    • Step 6: Reference checks
