- Prepare and ensure send out samples are forwarded correctly
- Maintain awareness and provide instruction on specialized tests
- Maintain stock of collection materials
- Build relationships with referral laboratories
- File reports and results in an organized manner
- Monitor lab reports and troubleshoot issues
- Train and support staff
- Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally
- Solve problems efficiently
- Ensure accuracy of procedures for patient care
- Update procedures and serve as a resource for staff
- Work as a team member to provide quality service
