- Assisting with placing orders and keeping the lab organized
- Performing cell culture
- Conducting biochemical and molecular biology assays, including RT-PCR, Western blotting, and immunofluorescence
- Working collaboratively with postdocs and graduate students to further research projects
- Independently executing a research project with guidance from the PI

- BA/BS in a scientific field required. Must have scientific knowledge in the area of study and basic laboratory skills.
- Independent research experience in addition to school lab experience is usually necessary.

Our laboratory seeks to understand the genetic and cellular underpinnings of tumor progression, with a focus on tumor dormancy and therapy resistance.
To achieve this goal, we use genomic, cell biologic, biochemical, and genetic tools to study genetically engineered mouse models and human cancer cells.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and have excellent organizational skills. Prior research experience in some area related to biological sciences is required.The applicant will have an opportunity to make meaningful contributions to research projects in our lab.
The ideal candidate will be able to independently drive a research project with guidance from the PI and work collaboratively as part of a team.
We anticipate that these contributions will result in the technician being an author on multiple high-impact publications.Responsibilities
