    Description

    Dialysis Facility Technical Manager

    The role of Facility Technical Manager is to oversee the technical maintenance of the dialysis facility and supervise technical employees. This position requires dialysis experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Participate in recruiting, training, and evaluating technical staff.
    • Select and oversee external service contractors.
    • Supervise repairs and maintenance of medical equipment, water treatment systems, and facility infrastructure.
    • Develop policies for alternative water sources and ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Maintain medical supply inventories and conduct staff training sessions.
    • Ensure facility compliance with regulatory agencies and safety standards.
    • Act as the facility's Safety Officer and participate in quality improvement programs.

    Supervisory Role

    The Facility Technical Manager assists the clinic manager in overseeing equipment technicians, including hiring and training new staff, resolving issues, and providing performance feedback.

    Physical Demands

    This role operates in a clinical environment, with moderate noise levels and exposure to cleaning chemicals like bleach.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • 2 years of recent dialysis experience preferred.
    • At least 2 years of management experience in a medical/technical setting.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Ability to interpret documents and communicate effectively.
