- Automation / Reporting: Partner with internal subject matter experts to automate manual HR tasks and provide data and reporting through Digital United's OpenBook proprietary solution and other HRIS tools.
- Manage HR Operations: Oversee recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, and counseling of staff. Manage employment relations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Analyze HR Metrics: Track and analyze HR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of HR initiatives. Utilize data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
- Administer HR Programs: Manage various HR programs including compensation, career pathing, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and office safety.
- Develop HR Plans: Craft corporate HR plans and collaborate with senior management to ensure alignment with company strategy and culture objectives.
- Partner with Leadership: Collaborate with leadership to develop Total Rewards/Pay philosophy, review compensation and benefits market data, and monitor pay practices.
- Manage Compliance: Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Ongoing Professional Development: Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to leadership.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster positive employee relations.
- Current, broad, and deep subject expertise in federal and state employment law and HR best practices.
- Strategic thinking abilities with a focus on long-term organizational goals.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is highly desirable.
- Agency experience is a plus
- Strong track record of successfully automating manual HR tasks, and experience in system selection and implementation.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Proven history of implementing HR best practices and driving organizational culture.
- Full-time schedule during regular business hours, with flexibility based on organizational needs.
