Description
East Bay Community Action Program (EBCP) is seeking a full-time Vice President of Human Resources for our Agency.
The Vice President Human of Recourses is a member of the Senior Management Team and reports directly to the President/CEO.
developing and administering a comprehensive and legal process for recruitment, screening, selection, orientation, training, and retention of competent employees through practices and strategies to enhance employment, compensation, benefits, orientation, safety, credentialing, competency assessment, training, policy writing, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), payroll processing, and employee relations.
Extensive Knowledge of and Proficiency in**:
- employment law and HR best practices.
- management techniques.
- effective communication strategies.
Must:
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional, ethical performance standards.
- Have excellent presentation skills, superior leadership and management skills, and dedicated collaborator orientation.
- Foster and cultivate trust and partnerships with all levels.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION:
A bachelor's degree in human resources or related field with at least 7 years of experience is required. Must have extensive education and knowledge of federal and state laws and licensing/accreditation requirements that impact Human Resources.
