Description
Primary role :
Responsible for the execution of shipping services and compliance documentation activities required for in/out-bound shipping activities .
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Scale out shipment footage and call carriers every morning.
Prepare Bills of Lading for Latham and Pool Corp (Navisphere) shipments.
Daily invoicing and filing.
Verifying LTL report.
Box and run small pack.
Follow standard work and carry out responsibilities in a safe manner.
Keep track of and order packaging supplies for the warehouse.
Receive incoming shipments into System 21. Deal with Purchasing and Buyers on discrepancies.
Maintain clean and orderly work area.
Inventory preparations in October.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Work effectively and independently in a fast paced and changing environment.
with multiple priorities.
Solid Computer Skills; Microsoft Office and Excel. Accurate data entry/typing
Skills , system 21/PC5250/ERP
Proficient communication with co-workers, freight carriers and Supervisors.
Minimum one-year shipping/receiving experience, to include administration of
LTL, Parcel, and Full truck load shipments domestically and internationally.
Forklift experience on both stand up and sit-down forklifts .
Must have strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills.
Must be a self-motivated and self-driven independent worker.
Must be able to stand for up to 5 hours per day.
Must be able to perform heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling approximately 30 pounds.
