    Description:

    Our client, an international law firm in midtown Manhattan, is looking to hire a Systems Admin (Network Operations Engineer) for their Monday - Friday 4- midnight shift. They will be doing patch management using Ivanti (used to be called Shavlik), server deployments, monitoring, server builds, Active Directory administration, managing domain controllers, Azure cloud support, VMware 6/7 virtual server builds/backups using VCOPS/maintenance, and Exchange server support including patch management, troubleshooting email flow issues, email security using Proofpoint and Clearswift for gateways, and creating distribution lists.

    Top Skills' Details

    • Candidates must have 3-5 years of Windows server administration including, patch management, Windows Active Directory 2016/2019 domain administration, DNS, DHCP, and server deployments ideally in environments of 500 users or more.
    • Candidates should have some experience with MS Azure.
    • Candidates must have 3 years of experience supporting VMware virtual server infrastructures including virtual server builds. Candidates need to have experience with VMware 6.x or higher.
    • Candidates need to have 2-3 years of Exchange server support experience including server maintenance, installing patches, and creating distribution lists. Candidates should have experience troubleshooting email flow issues and some experience with email security.
    • Any experience with Cisco UCS Blade servers is a plus.
    • Any experience with Powershell scripting and automation is a plus.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Candidates need to have solid communication skills, be team players, and be able work with limited supervision. The team has an on call rotation.
