    Description
    Responsible for the development of all manufacturing, planning, and shipping programs subject to the approval of the applicable executive(s).

    Supervises the managers and/or supervisors responsible for the work of the Machine Shop, SMT, Production, Planning, Shipping/Receiving and Maintenance Departments.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Directs the overall coordination of the assembly function.
    • Inform applicable executive(s) regarding conditions.
    • Manages and coordinates the function of the machine shop to fit program needs.
    • Advises the applicable executive(s) as to technical progress in the field, industry trends and legislation that affect production, planning, and shipping.
    • Reviews the job performance of personnel reporting to this position and makes recommendations regarding retention, promotions, transfers, reclassifications, and salary increases.
    • Analyzes cost effectiveness of all programs.
    • Responsible for budgeting and resource planning.
    • Develops and implements policies in accordance with company goals.
    • Maintains all a positive work by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent. Masters preferred.
    • 10 years' experience required.
    • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing methods in test, assembly, and fabrication required for electronic
    hardware.

    • Familiarity and experience with RF & microwave frequency products, subassemblies, modules, and printed
    circuit boards.

    • Experience in wire bonding and working with chip and wire processes required.
    • Familiar with a cleanroom environment
    • Problem solver familiar with root cause analysis and project management.
    • Excellent communications skills, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
    • Microsoft Office proficiency, CostPoint strongly preferred
