Consumer Litigation Associate
Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP is a national law firm focused on complex class action litigation.
The Firm is seeking an attorney with 2-5 years of experience to immediately join its consumer protection team in its Center City Philadelphia, PA office.
A Consumer Litigation Associate would be expected to conduct legal research, draft pleadings and various motions, respond to discovery demands, and assist partners with all aspects of litigation. The ideal candidate must have strong research and writing skills. Be creative and motivated to investigate potential new cases and learn about consumer protection law as well as have litigation experience (i.e., researching, and drafting motion papers and other litigation documents, taking and defending depositions, and conducting oral arguments).
Prior complex civil or class action experience, particularly in consumer protection law, is a plus.
Base compensation ranges from $100,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience.
Must-have qualifications: JD from an ABA-accredited Law School. Admitted to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.
