    Professional Services Manager

    Position Description

    The Manager of Professional Services leads a team of Menu/Operations and Onboarding Specialists who care for PAR's customers, serving as consultants for their internal teams. The ideal person for this role must be creative, ambitious, and eager to be part of ongoing transformation. They will collaborate with other PAR teams to address issues that reside within our technology stack which spans multiple products. This individual can lead a great team inspiring them to grow professionally, expand product expertise and develop customer empathy. You know what it takes to deliver services to the hospitality industry which is based on service excellence. The professional services provided by your team are consultation and performing of operational programming, configuration, menu management, and pricing for PAR products with focus on the Brink POS and MENU digital platform.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage our professional services team with responsibility for delivery of PAR's Concept Support and Onboarding offerings
    • Lead by example setting a high bar for delivering customer success and PAR's values
    • Become a subject matter expert for PAR products and the services delivered by your team with the expectation of being a part time participant in the delivery of the services - this is a working manager role where you will be the lead consultant to our customers
    • Work in conjunction with Service Delivery leadership and peers on the strategy and development of PAR professional services including new offerings and service pricing
    • Recruit, mentor and coach personnel to ensure highest levels of service quality
    • Develop best practices, partnerships and resource allocations to improve ongoing growth and profitability
    • Responsible for efficient scheduling and allocation of the team to meet customer commitments
    • Establish regular individual one-on-one management reviews
    • Establish annual individual and team performance goals
    • Manage customer escalations related to professional services
    • Meet with customers as required to represent PAR Professional service - minimum quarterly with some in-person travel for key accounts

    Qualifications

    • At least 10 years working in restaurant operations or restaurant technology management
    • At least 2 years experience in managing a team or project management
    • Demonstrated track record of providing Point of Sale configuration, restaurant operations and product mix management for the restaurant industry
    • Customer-driven mindset - you are a tireless advocate for our customers
    • Can effectively own, prioritize and resolve escalated customer issues
    • Able to delegate responsibilities to the team and measure performance of tasks delegated
    • Ability to build successful and influential working relationships with a diverse set of customers
    • Master of organization and prioritization
    • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, presentation - this is a customer facing role

    The base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $118,000USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments.

    The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.
