Description
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for updating the prescriber database, scheduling product calls, and inviting prescribers to speaker programs. The ideal candidate will enjoy making cold calls, establishing rapport and building relationships with physician offices, and be detail oriented. This position reports to the Manager, Inside Sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify Pediatric Prescribers appropriate for Qsymia targeting- gathering prescriber credential information. Ask what age groups they currently treat.
• Drive pull through with Cigna, ESI, & CVS Caremark targets for both Qsymia and Pancreaze: send formulary announcements via email, fax or mail.
• Maximize Pancreaze 37,000 opportunity: send Pancreaze 37k product information via email, fax, or mail.
• Leverage virtual speaker program attendance for both products Qsymia and Pancreaze: Personally, invite prescribers to upcoming virtual speaker programs via phone call, email, fax, or mail.
• Update demographics: collect accurate data effectively. Information to include names, address, phone and fax numbers, emails, point of contact in office, support staff information (NP, PA's). Assess office ability to conduct virtual presentations.
• Identify co-locates and satellite offices: collect basic demographics mentioned above on any satellite offices and identify any co-located doctors practicing in either primary or satellite offices.
• Identify office contacts: Maintain accurate list of primary contact in office who makes virtual appointments, gathers information via email or fax, who has a direct line of communication with the prescriber.
• Gather Office Technology capabilities: Gather information on office Virtual platforms, Video capabilities and audio capabilities for Virtual presentations.
• Mail out product information: Use USPS service to mail product information to providers.
Required Skills
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business administration or related field
• Experience with database systems; experience with Tableau a plus
• Demonstrated communication skills with ability to effectively deliver messages in concise and friendly manner over the telephone
• Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills, such as creating workbooks, formatting cells, inputting and sorting data, highlighting, and basic use of simple formulas
• Demonstrated ability to quickly establish rapport over the phone during a cold call
• Ability to think logically and apply sound reasoning to solve simple to moderate problems
• Demonstrated enjoyment in sourcing and developing new customers
Required Experience
