    We are hosting a Hiring Event for Direct Care, Education, Summer and Clinical Staff to work with our children.

    We are seeking staff to work with at-risk youth. We take pride in our structured program that focuses on changing a client's behaviors, thinking patterns, and values.

    Our program primarily focuses on implementing behavioral changes to assist with a successful reintegration into the home, family, and community.

    We are interviewing for the following positions for the Orefield, PA campus:

    Special Education Teacher - FT/PT

    Provide education for KidsPeace students in a highly structured and safe environment. Also, where applicable, provide supervision of the classroom teacher aide.

    Mental Health Technician - FT/PT

    3PM-11PM (weekends required)

    $16.50-$20.00

    Providing direct supervision and direction to emotionally and behaviorally challenged children and adolescents in a compassionate and respectful manner.

    This includes requiring an unwavering commitment to the safety of kids and being aware of all ongoing developments and concerns, on a daily basis, of all children in their care.

    This responsibility also includes demonstrating the ability to distinguish between discipline and punishment as well as seeing past a child's surface behavior to recognize the children in need of help.


    Summer Education Aide assists with the summer education program designed to provide education and structural programming during the summer months.

    A Summer Education Aide learns to demonstrate a variety of de-escalation and supportive skills which fosters a trusting, supportive relationships with the children.

    The Summer Education Aide will be actively participating in a variety of educational program needs, including, but not limited to, classroom learning and activities, assisting in facilitating group activities, and other programming needs.

    7AM-3PM Monday through Friday


    Hourly Rate:
    $15-$18

    Positions can be used towards college credit if approved by your university. Please refer to your university guidelines for clarification or speak to the recruiter.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma required; prefer candidates enrolled in college courses pertaining to Psychology, Social Work, Education and other relatable degrees
    • Be 21 years of age or older
    • Have valid drivers license
    • Ability to pass physical/drug screen and background checks
    Training for the summer position begins Tuesday, May 28th for 2 weeks Monday through Friday 9AM-5PM.

    Training for non-summer positions begins May 28th or June 10th - also 2 weeks Monday through Friday 9AM-5PM.

    All positions require staff to be at least 21 years of age with a valid, active driver's license.
