  • Ensures all preboarding documents are completed thoroughly and within SLUHN timeframes and that all conditions of employment have been successfully met (references, preemployment physical, background screen, verifications of licensure/certification/registration etc).
  • Uploads appropriate employment documentation into Workday
  • Reviews the Employee Portion of the Employment Eligibility Verification Form (Form I9) for completeness, and completes the Employer Portion of Form I9 within the required timeframe.
  • Assists with setup and checkin at new hire orientation, creates name badges for new hire orientation.
  • Works in cooperation with Compliance and Occupational Medicine teams for new hire clearances.
  • Assist with coordinating events for various career days, job fairs, open houses, and other recruitment activities.
  • Demonstrates competence in the areas of critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, and technical skills.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting up to 7 hours per day, 1 hour at a time. Standing/walking up to 1 hour per day, 15 minutes at a time. Frequently uses fingers/hands for typing, computer entry, etc. Twisting and turning of hands occasionally. Occasionally carries, pushes or pulls an object of up to 25 lbs. Occasionally stoops, bends, kneels, climbs and reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to general and near vision.


EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.


TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years' administrative/clerical experience, preferred. Must possess excellent computer and organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize assignments. Prior human resources experience with emphasis in talent acquisition support strongly preferred. Must have good interpersonal skills.
