    Job Title: Pricing Manager

    Full-Time 40 Hours/Week

    Classification: exempt under FLSA

    Location: 100% Remote

    CleanChoice Energy, a national renewable energy company that empowers people and businesses to cut emissions and live cleaner, healthier lives, is seeking a Pricing Manager to join the Marketing department. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission driven organization transforming the U.S. electricity market by switching homes and businesses to 100% clean, pollution-free energy.

    Job Description

    This key role will be focused on implementing retail pricing strategies and managing the pricing process for our consumer clean energy services. We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, constantly looking for ways to improve decision-making and processes, and has a strong attention to detail. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing pricing strategies, implementing pricing changes, conducting pricing analysis, and reporting to management. This person will report to the Vice President of Growth and Revenue Operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Optimizing pricing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention, balancing growth goals and profitability
    • Manage the retail pricing process, including: receiving pricing requests, effectuating monthly updates to fixed and variable pricing, plan creation and retirement, implementing pricing changes in coordination with Tech, merchandising of rates, pricing and offers across channels
    • Conduct pricing analysis for both fixed and variable portfolios to help define pricing strategy and rate management
    • Produce management reporting to share out performance with leadership team
    • Partner closely with Wholesale and Finance on input costs (energy, RECs, etc)
    • Coordinate with sales and marketing colleagues (channel managers, lifecycle marketing) to support marketing campaigns and sales efforts.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • 2-4 years experience managing pricing at a consumer business
    • Degree in business, marketing, economics, engineering, or a related field
    • You have prior experience in a similar role including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating pricing process documentation
    • Possess a strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts
    • Strong data and analytical skills
    • Proficient with MS Excel
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to manage complexity
    • Energy experience is a bonus, but not required
