    Axle Informatics is seeking a

    Pricing Specialist


    to play a crucial role in developing competitive pricing strategies and proposals that align with government regulations and company objectives.


    The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for preparing cost proposals, conducting pricing analysis, and ensuring compliance with government procurement regulations.

    This position requires a meticulous approach to analyzing cost data, assessing financial risk, supporting negotiations with government clients, and developing automated pricing models to improve efficiency and accuracy.


    Responsibilities:


    Develop, prepare, and review cost proposals for government contracts, ensuring they meet both internal and external compliance and are submitted on time.

    Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to establish pricing strategies that align with company goals and ensure competitiveness in the federal market.

    Design and implement automated pricing tools and models to streamline the pricing process. Ensure these models are scalable, repeatable, and accurate, enhancing the speed and reliability of proposal development.
    Perform detailed financial analysis to evaluate the costs and benefits of various pricing scenarios and their impact on profitability.

    Ensure all pricing practices comply with government procurement laws and regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).

    Work closely with the contracts, procurement, finance, and project management teams to gather the necessary cost information and business assumptions for accurate pricing.

    Identify financial risks associated with proposals and suggest mitigation strategies to management.
    Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all pricing documentation and analyses. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management outlining proposed pricing and expected outcomes.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
    At least 3 years of experience in pricing within the federal contracting environment. Experience in developing and implementing pricing models is highly desirable.
    Strong understanding of government contracting processes, including expertise in FAR and CAS.
    High proficiency in financial modeling and analysis with a keen eye for detail.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively presenting pricing strategies and financial data.
    Ability to solve complex pricing issues creatively and efficiently.
    Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial or accounting software relevant to pricing analysis.
